Badr Al Samaa Royal Hospital, Centre of Excellence in Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session focusing on Obstructed Airway in Children on 2nd October, 2024 at Intercity Hotel, Al Khuwair. The event attracted a large number of medical professionals, including Paediatricians, ENT specialists, and other doctors. 
The CME aimed to educate and raise awareness about airway obstructions in children, their diagnosis, and management. The session featured in-depth discussions led by experienced ENT consultants.


Three doctors from ENT Specialty delivered the presentations.
Dr. Subirendra Kumar, Senior Consultant ENT, delivered a talk on Laryngo-Tracheal Obstruction in Children. Dr. Mazin Al Kabouri, Senior Consultant ENT, presented on Supralaryngeal Obstruction in Children. Dr. Nishad Chemmangath, Specialist ENT, shared insights on the Role of Nasal Allergy in Obstructed Children. 


The presentations were followed by a moderated discussion by Dr. Subirendra Kumar, engaging attendees in case-based learning and clinical applications. The CME concluded with a networking session over dinner, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals. This event, attended by Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals Senior Management, Doctors, ENT Specialists and Healthcare experts provided a valuable platform for the doctors to stay informed on treating obstructed airways in children.
